Membership Options
Contractor Member:
Contractor member companies are defined as an established general contracting company, subcontractor, specialty contractor, builder, construction manager, developer-builder, design-builder, or turnkey contractor with either on-site labor, the overall project contract, or both for satisfactory completion of either or both vertical or horizontal types of commercial, industrial, governmental, private, or tribal construction projects.

Provisional Contractor Member
- A contracting company that has never been a contractor member of any AGC Chapter may be accepted as a Provisional Contractor Member without eligibility to vote and under additional terms and conditions set forth by the Board.
- A Provisional Contractor Member may remain in this status for a period of two years, after which time the Provisional Member may become a Contractor Member. (Dues based on previous year’s Gross Annual Construction Revenue for South Dakota Only and spread-out between 3-years of payments (Year 1:One-third (33.33%) Year 2 : Two-thirds (66.67%) Year 3: Full (100%) View the Dues Chart Here.
Visiting Contractor Member
A contracting company that is currently an active member of another AGC Chapter, does not regularly perform work in South Dakota and does not have a corporate structure in South Dakota may be accepted as a Visiting Contractor Member without eligibility to vote and under additional terms and conditions set forth by the Board.

Associate Member:
There are four (4) classes of Associate members:
Producer Member Class. An established firm engaged in business primarily as a supplier of project materials they make, build, or fabricate off site that are incorporated into the final project but do not provide onsite labor beyond assembly of their items. $1,300
Vendor Member Class. An established firm engaged in business primarily as a reseller of material manufactured by others that are required on the project that may or may not be incorporated into the final project. $900
Service Provider Member Class. An established firm that provides insurance, bonds, on-site technical services (e.g., construction engineering), or provides other supporting services to the construction industry that is not a labor organization or representative thereof. $600
Industry Partner Member Class. A professional, governmental, educational, association, organization, utility company, owner representative, or individual associated with or serves the construction industry in some other relationship than defined above that is not a labor organization or representative thereof. $400
