Davis-Bacon Wage Rates

New Davis-Bacon Wage Rates published January 30th, 2026. See Wage Rates here.

Updated Defined Work Classifications corresponding with new wage rates. These classifications include all changes originally proposed to the USDOL including the new Ironworker and Painter classifications here.

The new wage rates will apply to any project let on or after February 18, 2026. Next week’s Bid Letting will incorporate the new wage rates by addendum to the February 18 letting.

Please note that the Surveyor Laborer classification within the GL-1 group was not included in the final USDOL publication. SDDOT is aware of this and will review the matter. Any updates or clarifications will be shared as they become available.
