LOCAL CHARITIES RECEIVE DONATONS FROM AGC AWARD WINNERS
Pierre, SD (April 2, 2014) - The Associated General Contractors of South Dakota, Heavy-Highway-Utilities Chapter (AGC) is proud to announce the local charities that received a $500 donation from the companies that won a 2013 AGC Build South Dakota Award.
Build South Dakota Award
The Build South Dakota Award recognizes particular South Dakota highway-heavy-utilities construction projects completed in the past year. Projects demonstrate excellent management and client service, innovation in construction techniques or materials, community relations and /or sensitivity to the environment. The 2013 winners and chosen charities are:
Category II - (Project between $500,000 – $2-Million)
Mainline Contracting, Inc. – Rapid City, SD. Chosen for their work on the reconstruction of
Plateau Lane in Rapid City, SD.
Charity: $500 – Children Home Society, Rapid City, SD
Category III - (Project greater than $2 Million)
D&G Concrete Construction, Inc. – Sioux Falls, SD. Chosen for their reconstruction of West
57th Street & South Western Avenue in Sioux Falls, SD.
Charity: $500 – The Sioux Falls Humane Society on Behalf of David Stitt
